Hi, I’m Rhiannon Story! I was born in Colorado but have called South Carolina home since I was six. I work for a company that installs natural gas, and I’m incredibly lucky to have a boss who supports my passion for wildlife—so much so that I’m able to rehab squirrels right from the office. My lifelong love of animals naturally led me to wildlife rehabilitation, and caring for squirrels has become one of the most rewarding parts of my life. When I’m not working or nursing a tiny fuzzball back to health, you’ll probably find me curled up with a good book or crafting something I love getting creative. My home is a bit of a zoo in the best way: I share it with two sweet rabbits, Honey Bun and Moo, a cat named Salem, a dog named Frisco, and Chubs, a non-releasable squirrel who’s become part of the family. Every day brings a little chaos and a lot of joy, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
